Fly to tutorial
Fly the camera to a location
Moves the camera to a place, arcing out and back down the way a plane would. It carries your viewer from one subject to the next, and almost every animation opens with one — the map has to be looking at the right thing before anything else appears.
How to
- Add the action and type the destination in the Location field — a country, a city, or exact coordinates.
- Leave Zoom on Auto to frame the place automatically, or switch it to a value of your own.
- Set Tilt (degrees) and Bearing (degrees) for an angled arrival; leave them blank to keep the camera's current angle.
- Pick an Easing curve, or leave it on Default to follow the action's own motion curve.
- Set the duration — it is the whole length of the flight.
Tips
- Fly to sets where the camera ENDS. Everything you add afterwards is framed by that pose, so move the camera first.

- Pan to — Pan to slides the camera across the map without changing the zoom, instead of arcing out and back.
- Fly along — Fly along rides the camera along a whole route rather than moving to a single destination.
