About the Animaps team
A small, independent team that builds Animaps, writes its guides and answers its support messages.
What we make
Animaps is a web app for animated map videos. You describe the animation or build it step by step, watch it play live in the browser, then export a video. We make it for YouTubers, teachers, journalists and researchers who need a map to move without learning motion design software.
How we write guides and articles
- Every guide is written from the product as it ships. The steps, limits and prices we quote are the ones you get in the app and on the pricing page.
- Each article shows its publication date. When the product changes, we update the articles that describe it.
- Articles are signed by the team rather than by one person, because they are written and checked by the team.
How we compare other tools
- Facts about other tools come from their own public pages: pricing, features and documentation.
- Each comparison says when its figures were last checked. The newest ones end with the list of pages we checked, so you can verify each figure yourself.
- When a tool changes its plans, we check again and move the date. We also say where another tool is the better fit.
