Land tutorial
Fill or pulse a country or region
Paints the inside of a country, region or city in a colour of your choice. Use it when the point is the AREA — who controls what, where a language is spoken, which states voted which way — rather than just where a place sits on the map.
How to
- Add the action and pick the place in the New land window; the shape comes from the map's own border data.
- Click Edit land style, open the Motion tab and set Mode: Fill, Reveal or Pulse.
- In the Fill tab of the same panel, set Color and Opacity.
- Switch on Show border in the Stroke tab when you want an edge around the fill.
- Use one action per country when you compare several: each carries its own colour and its own timing.
