Animated Store and Office Location Maps for Business Videos
Turn your head office, branches and stores into an animated location map: hub and spoke lines, pulsing points, filled regions, in your brand colors.

A company video often needs one map: where we are. Head office, branches, stores, warehouses, partners. You can turn that list into an animated map with the map animation maker, with lines from the head office to each site and points that pulse when they appear.
TL;DR
Short version: An animated business location map shows your sites one after another, so viewers understand your footprint in a few seconds. The common layouts are hub and spoke (lines from the head office to each branch), a store rollout (points appearing city by city, often in the order they opened) and a regional view (countries or regions filled where you operate). In Animaps you type your list of places as a sentence, or you build the steps: Fly to, Label with a pulsing marker, Route for the lines, Land for the filled countries. Export an MP4 in 16:9 for presentations and websites, or 9:16 and 1:1 for social posts.

Where Business Location Maps Are Used
- The "about us" video on a company website.
- A sales deck or investor presentation: "we are in 14 cities".
- A recruiting video that shows every office a candidate could join.
- A franchise pitch that shows how the network grew year by year.
- A logistics or delivery video: warehouse to stores, port to customers.
- Social posts for a store opening: "our 20th store opens in Lyon".
A still map with dots does the job in a document. In a video, an animated map holds attention, and the order in which sites appear tells a story: where you started, and how you grew.
Three Layouts That Work
1. Hub and spoke
One head office in the center. A line draws from it to each branch, one after another. Each branch gets a pulsing point and its name. This layout says "we are connected", and it suits logistics, service networks and companies with one strong HQ.
2. Store rollout
No lines. Points appear on the map in the order the sites opened, with the year on screen. The camera starts close on the first city, then pulls out as the network grows. This layout says "we grew", and it suits retail, restaurants and franchises.
3. Regional footprint
Whole countries or regions fill with your brand color, one after another. Use it when you sell in countries rather than cities, or when a city level map would show too many points.
Build a Hub and Spoke Map, Step by Step
Example: a company with a head office in Amsterdam and branches in London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Milan.
- Pick a calm map style. Light, Bright or Dark work well for corporate videos. Pick the one that matches your brand colors.
- Start on Western Europe. Hold the view 2 seconds.
- Add a Label on Amsterdam with a larger marker, the text "Head office" and a pulse.
- Add a Route from Amsterdam to London. Set the line color to your brand color. Give it 1.5 seconds.
- Add a Label on London with a pulsing dot.
- Repeat the Route and the Label for Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Milan. You can draw the branches one by one, or several in the same moment.
- Add a Text block fixed to the frame: "6 offices, 1 team".
- Hold the final view 3 seconds, then export.
Or type the whole map as one prompt:
The AI builds the steps, and you edit any of them by hand before you export. The AI map prompts guide shows more ways to phrase a prompt.
More Prompts to Copy
Dark map of the United States. Show our stores appearing one by one in the order they opened: Austin 2015, Dallas 2017, Houston 2018, Denver 2020, Phoenix 2022, Atlanta 2024. Show the year next to each city. Zoom out as the list grows.Fill Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Poland in dark blue, one after another, then add the text "Now shipping to 5 countries".
Start close on our warehouse in Rotterdam, then draw lines to Antwerp, Hamburg and Le Havre, with a pulsing point at each port.
Make It Look Like Your Brand
- Line and fill colors: set them to your brand color on each Route, Label or Land step.
- Map style: Light and Bright feel neutral, Dark feels premium, Satellite feels real.
- Icons: the Icon/Model step places a marker from a library of 10,100+ icons on an exact spot.
- Text: the Text step writes a short line fixed to the frame, for a slogan, a number or a date.
- Shapes: export 16:9 for a website or a slide, 1:1 for LinkedIn and Instagram feeds, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Stories.
Tips for Clear Location Maps
- Order matters. Show sites in the order that tells your story: by opening year, by size, or from the head office outward.
- Give each point a beat. 1 to 2 seconds per site is enough for viewers to read the name.
- Keep labels short. "Lyon" is enough; the street address belongs on your website.
- End on the full network. The final wide view is the frame viewers remember, so hold it 3 seconds.
- Use one accent color. The map stays quiet, your sites stand out.
Moving Things Between Sites
For logistics videos, a route can carry a 3D vehicle model along the line, such as a car, a ship or a plane. Animaps has 921 3D models and uses one by default when the route's travel mode has one. Sea routes avoid land, and road routes follow real roads. The 3D map animation article shows how depth and models look.
FAQ
How do I make a map of all our office locations? List the cities, then add one Label per site and one Route line from the head office to each branch. Or type the list as one sentence and let the AI build the steps.
Can the points pulse? Yes. The Label marker can pulse, and a route can end with a pulse ring on arrival.
Can I use my brand colors? Yes. Each line, fill and marker takes its own color.
Can I put my company logo on the map? The simplest way is your video editor: add the logo on top of the exported video.
Which format should I export for a presentation? 16:9 MP4 fits slides and websites. Use 1:1 or 9:16 for social posts.
